Brian’s Pick – En Primeur Winery Series Riesling Gewurztraminer

139.99 119.99
Off-Dry German white. Apples, spice, and slight minerality on the nose. Flavours of citrus, floral and honey linger on the palate. Pleasant acidity to balance sweetness.
What a treat. This recent addition to the Winery Series line surprised us with its full flavour and complexity. Even people who typically drink bone-dry whites will appreciate the excellent balance struck by this blend.

Brian’s (other) Pick – En Primeur Winery Series Amarone

139.99 119.99
Heavy Italian red. The bouquet is spicy, with black cherry, tobacco, licorice and coffee notes in the glass. Big, round and flavourful on the palate with delicious dark fruit, leather, cassis and pepper notes.
Amarone is a highly sought-after Venetian red that starts at about $50 per bottle at the liquor store. This is one of the heaviest and most full-flavoured reds available to small-batch winemaker. Anyone who loves big reds needs to give this a try.

Evelyne’s Pick – Cru International Ontario Sauvignon Blanc

79.99 69.99
Dry Canadian white. Bold herbal tones and fresh citrus flavours. It delights with a long and fruity finish.
Canada is home to a handful of amazing wine-growing regions, and Southern Ontario is easily one of the best. This wine is a great example of how whites can be very fruity, but still completely dry, and versatile enough to be drank with or without food.

Lynda’s Pick – Cru International Washington Merlot

84.99 74.99
Medium-bodied American red. This deep, intense wine exhibits classic flavours of blackcurrant and chocolate. Dark and rich with notes of blackberries and velvety tannins.
This red is seriously smooth, and great value for the price. The blackberry overtones, silky-smooth tannins and low acidity combine to make this one of our easiest-drinking reds. Pair with milk or dark chocolate for a practically religious experience.

Theresa’s Pick – Vintners Reserve White Zinfandel

69.99 59.99
Medium-sweetness Californian rosé. Bursting with sweet fruit flavour and a refreshing, softly fruity finish.
Perfect summer drinking. This sweet (but not too sweet) rosé is a perennial favourite for weddings, family reunions, camping trips, and patio drinks after dinner.

Cathy’s Pick – Niagara Mist Orchard Crisp

62.99 52.99
White wine cooler. Enticingly vibrant peach nose, gentle bite of tart acidity, and lingering apple finish.
A delicious blend of apples, peaches and pears, this wine cooler has enough acidity to balance its sweetness and deliver a crisp, flavourful finish. If you enjoy your coolers with a little more zip, add this bestseller to your hit list.

Sarah’s Pick – Mangrove Jack’s Passion & Peach Cider

49.99 39.99
Flavoured apple cider. Light and fizzy combining both sweet and sour flavours. The sweet peach lifts the tangy passion fruit, making a very refreshing summer cider.
Who doesn’t love a tasty cider? We’re impressed by the amazing peach flavour that keeps you coming back for another glass. Plus, the sweetness can be adjusted to suit your personal preference.

Eric’s Pick – Festa Brew Continental Pilsner

49.99 44.99
German-style pilsner. A balanced, well rounded, golden European lager with a noticeable hop profile and all-malt character.
This beer is the ultimate crowd-pleaser; it’s crisp and dry enough to appeal to light beer drinkers, and flavourful enough to keep craft beer drinkers interested, thanks to a complex malt flavour and a slightly more hop-forward palate.
